Francis Albright Wells was listed in
The inventory of Richard Albright's estate was located in which are named "Thomas Coalman"s (Coleman's) children. This also shows that Francis Albright Wells married Thomas Coleman before March 1638-9 this was the date of the inventory of her brothers estate or about two years after the death of her first husband Thomas Wells which was not in Connecticut.
Other research by Douglas Richardson published in "The New England Historical and Genealogical Register" Vol. CXLVI, January 1992, also revealed that in "Aspinwalls's Notarial Records" (a volume relating to the early history of Boston) a reference dated October 3, 1646, showed that Thomas Coleman gave a power of attorney "...unto Captain Robert Harding of Boston 'to take &c all writings touching his house in Esstum [sic, surely Evesham] in the County of Worcestershire which are in the hands of John Albright or same, & to receive the rent for the time past due; also to receive the Remainderof a Legacie in the hands of John Norton of Cotherstock Esqr granted by the will of John Coleman of Cotherstock." This would seem to prove Conclusively that the wife of Thomas Wells of Eversham was indeed Frances Albright. 1 _UID 7B35B51A-FA95-40B0-B199-3C4BCF3A158C. 2 _UID 848CCF5D-FBFA-4761-81AC-2394E2D3413C.

Seargent Humphrey came from England with his father, Captain John. "He was a capable man in town affairs and often employed in public business. He had an uncommon inclination to lawsuits. And few men have left on the records of the court, so many evidences of his litigeous disposition". He settled in Scituate, Mass., and latter was from Hingham, Mass., where he was an Innkeeper. He was a member of his brother's company in the Narragansett Expedition. He was an original donor of the free school. His farm house in Scituate, was in later years owned by Joshua Lincoln into whose family there was much intermarying.
