Bethany Michaela Bushong, 2-day-old daughter of John C. and Angelee Bushong of Independence, died March 20, 2000, at Children's Mercy Hospital.
Her survivors also include a brother, Josiah Bushong of the home; one sister, Jami Bushong, West Plains, MO; her grandparents, Tom and Pat Wood, Arnold, MO; and Corbin and Sandie Bushong, Lee's Summit; an aunt and uncle, Kathy and Rick Bushong, Blue Springs; and her uncle, Tim Wood, St. Louis.
Graveside services are Friday at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of the Speaks Suburban Chapel.

Survivors include six daughters — Robin Cropper, Tompkinsville; Emma Jean Tade, Elizabethtown; Lorene Savage, Summer Shade; Betty Joyce Tudder, Lafayette, Ind.; Carol Westmoreland, Edmonton; and Lucy Rush, Bowling Green; a brother, Willie G. Walker, Tompkinsville; four sisters, Patty Thomas, Jeanette Davis, JoAnne Ferguson and Wanda Fox, all of Tompkinsville; 18 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. A son, James Boyd Webb, and two daughters, Brenda June and Janet Lavonne Bushong, all preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bro. Taylor Wilson officiating. Burial was at the Liberty Cemetery. School. He retired in 1998 from Chicago Bridge & Iron Works where he worked as
a boilermaker. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Vietnam from
1966-1968. He was a member of the Frankfort American Legion and VFW.
Services will be 7 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
