VICTIM OF FALL ON SHOPPING TRIP IS DEAD AT AGE 61A

Mrs. Ethel Ova Bushong, 61, of 919 193rd Place, Holbrook, died Friday
morning at St. James Hospital from complications said to have resulted from
a fall suffered June 21 while shopping in Chicago Heights.
Mrs. Bushong suffered a fractured pelvis bone when she lost her
footing. A coroner's jury at an inquest yesterday morning returned a verdict of
accidental death.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Spindler-Koelling
Chapel. The Rev. T. W. Simer, pastor of the Harvey Christian church
conducted the rites, and burial was at Hazelwood Cemetery.
A resident of this community for 16 years, Mrs. Bushong was born 25
October 1990 at Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Reva Hibbs and Miss Rule Bushong of
Chicago Heights, and Mrs. Ruby Nygren of Hazel Crest; one son Edward of
Chicago Heights; two sisters Mrs. Cain Bushong of California and Mrs. Clina
Taylor of Harvey; two brothers, Claude Silvey and Carl Silvey of Chicago
