Mrs. Sarah Woolsey Bliss, widow of David Bliss, died on Thursday evening, March 5th, at the home of her son, Fred Bliss of Lakewood, aged 79 years. She was born at Ashtabula, Ohio, but had lived in Fredonia for 25 years, before going to Lakewood to make her home with her son.
Besides the son, she leaves a niece, Mrs. Leda van Norman of Rock Creek, Ohio, and two nephews, Vernon R. Covell of Wilklinsburg, Pa., and George D. Woolsey of Rock Creek, Ohio. Her husband died five years ago.
The body was brought to Fredonia for burial. The funeral services were held in Blood's Chapel, Monday afternoon, Dr. S. L. Maxwell officiating. The bearers were Homer H. Ellis, L. E. Winchester, Arthur Boss and Elgin Griswold. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Husband's memorial on findagrave. stone photo present
