WARNING !!!
In no known sources are the parents of Eimerus Galleius given. Appearing here as the son of Guy Le Strange is pure conjecture on my part. Therefore his paternity must be taken as unknown until sourcescan be found. I made this conjecture due to the fact that one internet source has called a descendant of Eimerus as having the title 'de Ness', and other internet sources claiming in equal that the Wallace family came from Ness (also called Nesse Strange), in Shropshire. Following that subjection, later I found that the Glen family was priorly called 'de Ness', and said to be of descent from Hoel, Duke of Brittany. Furthermore I found that the supposed son of Hoel, given the title of le Strange, as were the descendent of Guy, son of Hoel. From my research in the past, I have found that name Wallace is derived from a word meaning 'strange' or 'stranger'. I now make a supposition of conjection, following that the Le Strange family and Glen family are descent from Hoel, and are known to havebeen in Ness Strange, Shropshire at the time, that the Wallace family may very well be of the same lineage. I also placed Eimerus as the child of Guy, due to the fact that timewise he would most likely fit in this possition.
NOTE: All descendency of Eimerus Galleius is highly conjectural and suppositional prior to the year 1700 A.D.
The Wallace Clan are said to have been native Britons from the kingdom of Strathclyde. Ayrshire and Renfrewshire were part of the kingdom of Strathclyde until 1018. The capital of Strathclyde was at Dumbarton. The name Wallace (Celtic: Uallas) is said to have come from the Volcae, a tribe from North Gaul.
Another source says the Wallace family came to Britain from France with William the Conqueror in 1066.
This source makes the Wallace Clan a Norman family, who came from the family of Muras.
The Wallace family is said to have accompanied the Fitz-Alan's, and the Stewarts to Elderslie, from Shropshire.
The name Eimerus possibly could be translated as Aymer.
