ROCK FALLS - Nancy J. Bushong, age 91, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Rock River Hospice & Home.
Nancy was born on September 12, 1927 in Dean, Iowa the daughter of Jesse and Rose E. (Stroup) Sizemore. She married Samuel Bushong in 1949 in Peoria. He died November 19, 1951. Nancy was a homemaker and member of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls.
Survivors include, one daughter, Samuella (Byron) Myers of Rock Falls; one sister, Sarah Hurley of Bruner, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister; 2 daughters; 2 sons.
Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.

Holly Catherine Bushong Sutherly, passed away from this life in her home on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Edinburg, Virginia surrounded by her family.

Holly is survived by her husband, Kevin Sutherly; sons, Tucker Moats and Steele Sutherly; mother Donna Brady and stepdad Steve, of Front Royal; stepmom, Lauren Fravel of Woodstock; sister, Kerri Mellott of Strasburg; mother and father in-law, Diane and Johnny Orndorff of Maurertown; and stepsisters, Stephanie Tharpe and JoAnne Nicewarner and stepbrothers Nate Fravel and Travis Fravel.

Holly was preceded in death by her father; John Bushong of New Market.

Holly was born January 8, 1976, in Winchester, Virginia and grew up in Front Royal. She graduated from Warren County High School, Class of 1994. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Holly's faith in our Lord and her courage was truly inspiring to all who knew her. You could find Holly doing what she loved as a certified yoga instructor with Holy Yoga of the Shenandoah Valley in Stephens City. Her beautiful soul and infectious spirit enjoyed camping, hiking, the beach, kayaking, being in nature, entertaining, and being surrounded with family and friends.

Services for Holly will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM at First Church of Columbia Furnace pavilion located at 305 Back Road, Edinburg VA 22824.

Memorial donations can be made to Holy Yoga of the Shenandoah Valley at 5540 Mulberry Street, Stephens City, VA 22655.
