FRANK BUSHONG FUNERAL CONDUCTED AT EVEREST
Funeral services for Frank Bushong, 86, whose death occurred Wednesday
morning at 7:20 o'clock at his home in Everest, were held this afternoon
at
2:30 o'clock at the Everest Christian church.
Mr. Bushong was born 5 August 1860 in Joseph County, Iowa. His
marriage to Callie Parks occurred 20 April 1885 at Minneapolis, Kansas.
They came
to Everest in 1901 and since that time have resided in and near Everest.
Mr. Bushong is survived by his wife, three sons, Alfred Bushong, San
Diego, California, Henry Bushong, Everest and Bryan Bushong of Kansas
City,
Missouri, and formerly of Atchison and a brother, Melvin Bushong,
Memphis, Tennessee

"This Deed made the 13th day of June 1859, between John Bushong of the one
part and John W. Plecker Trustee of the other part, all of Augusta County,
Virginia. WITNESSETH: That whereas the said John Bushong is justly indebted to
J. and A. Plecker of said County of Augusta for the purchase of a picture
gallery and saloon and waggon, the sum of three hundred dollars due by note
bearing date on the 9th day of June 1859, $100 of which sum is to b due and
payable immediately in the sealing and delivery of these presents and the remaining
$200 to be due payable on the 25th day of September next for the purpose of
obtaining and securing to the said David A. Plecker and all the aforesaid
debt, together with the interest that may accrue then on and in further
consideration of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said John W. Plecker, the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, to the said John Bushong hath sold and
hereby doth sell and convey unto the said John W. Plecker and his heirs and
assignees forever the aforesaid picture gallery and saloon and waggon together
with all the chemical and instruments now in possession of said John Bushong
and used by him in taking Digareou pictures and the said John
Bushong for himself his heirs viz, hereby covenants with the said John W.
Plecker his heirs and assignees that he hath good title to the said property and
will warrant the same for the use and trusts herein after named and set forth;
Viz; Upon Trust that the said John W. Plecker will permit the said John
Bushong to use and enjoy the said picture Gallery and Saloon Waggon together with
the chemicals and instruments aforesaid until the 25th day of September 1859,
so as to enable the said Bushong to prosecute his said business of taking
pictures and thus enabling him to pay the aforesaid debt to said Plecker. But
if the said Bushong shall fail to pay the said debt of $300, or any part
thence of on or before the 25th day of September 1859 then and in that event it
shall be proper for the said John W. Plecker the Trustee in this deed to sell
the picture gallery and Saloon and Waggon together with all the chemicals and
instruments aforesaid at Public Auction to the highest bidder for cash having
first given reasonable notice of the time and place of Sale in some
newspaper published near the place of Sale and out of the proceeds of said sale, said
John W. Plecker the Trustee shall first pay all expenses attending the
execution of the Trust and then shall pay to said David A. Plecker all the
aforesaid debt of $300 together with the interest that may have accrued therein and
the surplus if any he the said Trustee shall pay over to said John Bushong or
his heirs or assigns."

In the Matter of the Estate of C. A. Bushong

Now comes Henry Hemphill, applicant, a resident of the county of Cooke
and State of Texas, for letters of the administration and represents that
C. A. Bushong is dead, that he died intestate 3rd February 1910; that
deceased's property is valued at Five hundred ($500.00) dollars and situated in
Cooke County, Texas, and that he has always called Cooke County his home;
that as both C. A. Bushong and wife are dead and their daughter, Mary Lena
Bushong, who is in school and needs attention financially, a necessity arises
for the administration of this estate.
Applicant further shows to the court that he is not disqualified by law
to act as administrator.
Wherefore applicant prays that upon final hearing, he be appointed
administrator of the estate of C. A. Bushong, deceased.

Pending in the County Court of Cooke County, Texas

Now comes Henry A. Hemphill, administrator of the above and foregoing
estate and shows to the court that he was appointed administrator of this
estate solely for the purpose of inducing the New York Life Insurance Company
to pay a balance that it owed on a policy on the life of C. A. Bushong,
deceased. That the said life insurance company refused to make such settlement
with the said henry A. Hemphill, as guardian of Mary Lena Bushong, the
sole heir and minor daughter of the said C. A. Bushong, for whom the said
Henry A. Hemphill was then acting as guardian, unless he should at the same
time take out letters of administration on the estate of the said C. A.
Bushong. That by virtue of said appointment he was enabled to collect from the
said life insurance company the sum of $529.86, which, after paying the
funeral expenses of the said C. A. Bushong, deceased, $56.20, And a small debt
of $4.40, And attorneys fees to Potter, Culp & Culp $25.00, And costs of
this administration $7.50. Amounts in all to $93.10, he at once turned over
the remainder to the guardian of the said Mary Lena Bushong.
Now having fully administered the said estate and performed all the
services that were expected of him as such administrator, he prays that he be
discharged from further liability herein and that said administration be
closed and this report of the condition of said estate be approved and
confirmed.

Wichita Falls, Tex. April 11-----Miss Mary Bushong died yesterday at 4
o'clock after a lingering illness. The funeral service were held at 1:30
o'clock this afternoon at the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. G. F. Boyd.
