Laconia----- Patricia Bushong, 74, of 260 Court Street, died at her home on Saturday, February 13, 2010. She was the widow of Richard Bushong who died in 2006.

Mrs. Bushong was born April 13, 1935 in Gardner, Mass. the daughter of Lionel and Bessie (Noel) Cleveland. She had been a resident of Haverhill, Mass. for many years moving to Laconia in 2005.

Mrs. Bushong had been employed by the Methuen Mass. Answering Service for 20 years retiring in April 2000. She was a puzzle master an avid reader enjoyed the theater, Bingo and playing cards.

Survivors include her three sons, Glenn Bushong of Madbury, Gary Bushong of Trenton, MO and Cory Bushong and his wife Michelle of Rochester; two daughters, Deb Shorter and her husband Ron of Grafton and Nina Carroll and her husband Kevin of Laconia; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers Robert Cleveland and his wife Agnes of Providence, RI and Richard Cleveland and his wife Winnie of Hudson, NH; two sisters Wanda Gosselin of Buxton, Maine and Pauline Redlon of Kennebunk, Maine and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, Howard Bushong.

Calling hours will be held Thursday February 18, 2010 from 6-9 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.

A funeral service will be held during calling hours at 7:00 PM. also at the funeral home.

DARWIN LEE BUSHONG

Darwin Lee Bushong, Sr., 76, of Wharton passed away at 12:17 a.m. on Wednesday, 31 December 2014 surrounded by his entire family at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on 27 February 1938, to the late Williams M. and Velma (Oman) Bushong in Amanda Township, OH. He married Donna M. Bibler on 27 February 1955 and she survives.
Darwin is also survived by his sons: Darwin “Junior” (Sally) Bushong, Jr. of Sycamore, and Daniel (Rhonda) Bushong of Carey; brother, Daryl G. Bushong of Amanda Township; sister, Doneeta Bishop of Mt. Blanchard; sister-in-law, Ruthann Bushong; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his children: Douglas E. Bushong, Sr. and Denise (Marie) Pratt; and brother, Nial E. Bushong.
Darwin was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Carey FOE (Eagles), VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and the NRA (National Rifle Association).
He was a bowler, having bowled a perfect 300 game. He enjoyed shuffleboard and billiards. He also loved hunting and fishing, especially at their cottage in Canada. His happiest moments were spent when his family was together.
Visitation will be held after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, 4 January 2015 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, 5 January 2015, with visitation one hour prior (10:00-11:00 a.m.) to the service at the funeral home. 2009 in Brazil. He was 52.
Born July 1, 1956 in Findlay, he was a son of Darwin L. and Donna M.
(Bibler) Bushong.
Mr. Bushong is survived by three sons, Douglas “Jay” Jr. (Emma) Bushong,
of Forest; Timothy (Jami) Bushong, of Westchester; and William (Heather) Jolliff,
of Huntsville; a daughter, Heather (Patrick Stansbery) Davis, Kirby; eight
grandchildren, Samuel and Tristan Davis, Alyssa and Griffin Bushong, Hunter

golf and shooting pool. He loved to spend time with his family and with
Melissa.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crates Funeral Home,
Arlington, with the Rev. Craig Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in Lee
(Union) Cemetery, Amanda Township, Hancock County. Visitation is from 1-9 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.

Born in Findlay, Ohio on April 15, 1962, she is the daughter of Darwin and Donna (Bibler) Bushong, Sr. They survive in Wharton.

Also survivng are her two children; Amber (Tony) Hilvers, Carey and Ashley (Brent) Bushong, Wharton, two grandchildren, Lillian and Grant Hilvers, two brothers; Darwin (Sally) Bushong, Jr., Sycamore and Daniel (Rhonda) Bushong, Carey and her best friends, Terrie & Ralph Thiel, Fostoria.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Bushong.

Denise was a 1981 graduate of Riverdale High School. She worked at Budd Company in Carey for 15 years.

She attended Shining Light Baptist Church, Hilliard, OH and Forest United Methodist Church.

Denise was involved with Relay For Life of Wyandot County. She enjoyed her family, especially the grandchildren. She loved watching her nephews at sporting events. She enjoyed fishing with her family. She truly cherished life!

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at STOMBAUGH`BATTON FUNERAL HOME, Carey.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Stombaugh~Batton Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery, Vanlue, OH.
