God called Tobias Mathew Bushong, 36, home on completion of his earthly angel duties on November 2, 2018. He was born November 30, 1981 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas to his loving parents, Raymond Jay Bushong, Jr. and Teri Rivera Bushong.

Tobias will be truly missed by numerous member of his family and friends. He loved all walks of life. The homeless community will miss Tobias. Most days you could find him taking sandwiches and offering the warmth of the floor of his apartment to the homeless. he prayed with them often. Tobias was known by many as someone who would literally take the shirt off of his back to help someone in need.

Survivors: father, Raymond Bushong, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; mother, Terri Rivera of Snyder, TX; sister, Earlene and husband, Cee Cee of Little Rock, AR; brothers, William Bushong (Paula) of TX and James Bushong of Colorado City, TX; nephews, D'Anthony Bushong, Tre McClain III, Mathew bushing, Aaron Bushong, and Caleb Douglas; and nieces, Arabella and Vanessa Bushong.

A memorial fund has been set up in his honor at City National Bank of Colorado City, Texas.

Angela Renee Tidwell, 47, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

She was born on February 7, 1967 in Granite City, IL, to Carolyn Bennett Bushong and the late Floyd Bushong. She was a teacher at New Beginnings Christian Academy, where she taught preschool and kindergarten.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Tidwell; and grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Bennett.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Jason Overcash, Ashley Overcash, Kevin Tidwell, Justin Tidwell; brother, Rusty Bennett; grandchildren, Summer Overcash, Bryson Overcash, Alyssa Tidwell, Makenley Tidwell; aunt, Brenda Fleagle and husband, Dan; and nephews, Kane and Skylar Bennett.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 22 at The River Church in Cornelius with Pastor Kelly Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, PO Box 977, Mooresville, NC 28115, to help with funeral expenses.
