Our beautiful little mother and sweetheart Fern Christiansen passed away June 6, 2014 from cardiac arrest in her home. She was born July 17, 1933 in Laveen, AZ to Dean Franklin and Alice Victoria Vines Bushong with a twin sister LaVern, who passed away 3 weeks after birth.
She married Chad Grant Christiansen in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 13, 1949.
Fern was born with a love for music and a gift to sing. All who heard her sing, were blessed and touched. She always had a kind word for all. Her love for life and for everyone was one of her greatest gifts and will be greatly missed. Her family was her greatest achievement with devotion to each and everyone of them.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in numerous callings. Fern sang at many funerals and was a member of many ward choirs. She enjoyed serving in the Manti temple.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Christiansen, Mount Pleasant, UT; 4 children, John Chad (Rea) Christiansen, Pleasant Grove, UT; Victoria (Bud) Parker, Louisville, KY; Cary Clint Christiansen, Mount Pleasant, UT; Debbie (Darryl) Peel, Mount Pleasant, UT; siblings, Robert (Beverly) Bushong, Buckeye, AZ; Brenda (Kim) Cline, Goodyear, AZ; 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, step-father, LaNay Christensen and step-mother, Grace Bushong, brothers, Wilbur Bushong, Francis Bushong, Wanda Rotini, LaVern Bushong and grandson, Trenton Judd Due.
Funeral services will be Friday June 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant 2nd Ward Chapel (295 S State). Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.

My loving wife of 52 years passed away, Saturday morning surrounded by her family. Wanda was born May 6, 1938 in Phoenix, Arizona to Dean and Alice Bushong. She moved to Salt Lake City, where she graduated from Granite High. She married Edo M. Rottini June 28, 1956, and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Oct. 21, 1960. Mom was proud of her Golden Gleener Award. She served many years in the Young Women's Organization until her health did not allow her to serve.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edo; sons: Arthur (Cindy), Dean (fiance, Crystal); grandchildren: Jeremy (Allison) Colby, Travis, Micheal, Starr, and Patrick Rottini, and Kevin Wienrich. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, L. Christensen; brothers, Wilbur and Bud.
Funeral Services will be held on Fri. December 28, 2007 at 11 a.m., at the Bennion 2nd Ward, 6100 S. Kamas Drive (approximately 2500 W), Taylorsville, UT. A Viewing will be Thurs. from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, and one hour prior to Services at the Church Fri.
Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.

SERVICES SET WEDNESDAY FOR KATHERINE BUSHONG, 95
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 am in Patterson & Snively Chapel
for Katherine Robinson Bushong, 95. daughter of one of Long Beach's pioneer
families. Mrs. Bushong, who lived at 3733 pacific Place, died Sunday in a
convalescent hospital.
Her father, Richard B. Robinson, in 1882 brought his family from
Stanislaus County, where he was county surveyor, to help lay out the new townsite
of Willmore City. Two years later it was named Long Beach.
He built his first home at Fifth Street and Cedar Avenue, a second on
Locust Avenue between Third and fourth Streets, and finally settled on 20
acres off Pacific Coast highway, east of the old "zanja" a water distribution
channel in what was then called Cerritos Colony.
"Katy" Robinson attended the Cerritos District School, Long Beach's
first from 1884 to 1887, and her father served as chairman of the school
district board.
While teaching school in Butte, Montana, she met her future husband,
Charles F. Bushong, who was in the mining business. He was a Long Beach
contractor for many years and died in 1954.
Mrs. Bushong was an officer in the Women's Auxiliary of Sons of Union
Veterans of the Civil War.
She is survived by a nephew, Robert Sergeant, of Portland, Oregon, and

James "Bud" Clifton Stahl, 79, of Harrisburg, AR., died Monday, June 25, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He spent most of his life in the Harrisburg and Trumann areas. Bud was an evangelist, and pastor. He founded the Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean era.
Bud accomplished many things. He was the owner/operator of Sunshine Window Cleaning Professionals. He owned and was manager of gas stations, worked in detail shops and was in the Jaycees. Bud had the first privately owned school bus that he operated. He was a farmer and enjoyed working in the garden.
Bud was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. As a young man he was scouted to become a player for St. Louis. His hobby was loving his family and preaching. He was a man who loved God, family and country.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Nellie Metcalf Stahl.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 ½ years, Wanda Stahl of the home; two sons, Miles (Lynne) Stahl of Jonesboro and George Edward (Marjorie) Stahl of Harrisburg; a daughter, Jamel (Rick) Gohlke of Brookland; brother, Roger (Brenda) Stevens of Henderson; sister, Helen Chaffin of Trumann; nine grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Funeral services were in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Jonesboro Sun, June 28, 2012.

He is survived by his second wife, Louise Audell Shroder Grube Bushong; his children Douglas (Mary Lohr) Bushong, Paula (John) Rennich and Barbara Horning; step-children, Ginger (John) Grube Hans, Frank (Jane) Grube and Susan (William) Grube Oda; nine grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 27 step-great grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews. Paul was in the National Guard from 1937 to 1944 and then joined the US Army during WW II serving as Staff Sergeant and medical technician aboard a US Navy ship in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He farmed in the Centerville area for 18 years and retired from National Cash Register (NCR) after 40 years. He was a charter member of Normandy United Methodist Church and a member of Centerville United Methodist and Belmont United Methodist churches. He also was a member of Far Hills Masonic Lodge #784 F & AM, Community Grange, Miami Valley Unit of Wally Byam International Airstream Club and a Red Cross volunteer and long-time blood donor. Paul was a fun-loving and caring gentleman who loved his family, friends and country. BUSHONG, Paul Henry age 92, of Dayton passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Sunrise of Englewood. Paul was born on January 28, 1917 in Dayton to Glenwood Oscar and Mina Della (Weisman) Bushong. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years, Hazel Frances Herren Bushong and his two sisters, Colleen (Burchell) Horn and Betty (Harold) Pease.
