IN THE NAME OF GOD. AMEN.
This Sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighty seven, I, Casper Swartz of Bethel Township in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, Bachelor, being at present Sick and Weak in Body, of Sound disposing Mind and Memory and understanding, Thanks be to God, therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, That is to say:
Principally and First of all, I recommend my Soul into the Hands of God who gave it Hoping through the merits of our Saviour Jesus Christ to receive remission, all my Sins and Happy admission into the region of Bliss and immortality.
and to be buried in a decent manner and touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to bless me in this life.
I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:
IMPRIMIS: It is my Will and I do order that in the first place, all my Just Debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied by my hereafter named Executor, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
ITEM: It is my Will and I do order that my Executors Shall of my Estate unto George Zeller and Nicholas Seyfert, Trustees of the Reformed Church in Tulphoccan , the Sum of Six Pounds specific to be for the use and Benefit of said Church and the same o be paid in three months after my Decease.
ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Michael Schwartz, Son of my Brother Michael, deceased, the sum of ten pounds specific to be paid unto him by my Executors herein after named in Eighteen months after my Decease from my Estate.
ITEM: It is my Will and I do further order that the remainder of my Estate Shall be Equally divided amongst my two brothers John Swartz and Leonard Swartz and my sister Elizabeth Inebely or their several and respective Heirs allowing my Brother John or his Heirs the sum of Twenty Pounds before hand or over his or their Equal Shares.
ITEM: And it is further my Will and I do order that in case any of my brothers and their Heirs aforesaid, should not like or chuse to wear my cloth, that then the same Shall be divided or given to them or him who Shall wear the same not to be sold by any ways whatsoever.
AND LASTLY, I nominate and appoint my Loving Brother John Swartz and Leonard Swartz to be Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking, Disannulling and making void, all former and other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made, Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS whereof, I the said Casper Swartz, have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal Dated the day and year first within written.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we Susanna Schwartz of Tulpehoccon Township in Berks County, Widow of Michael Schwartz deceased, Leonhart Schwartz of Bethel Township and Nicholas Kilmer of Tulpehoccon aforesaid are held and firmly bound unto Henry Christ, Register of the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Berks, in the Sum of Eight hundred Pounds Lawful Money of Pennsylvania, to be paid to the said Henry Christ, Register, his certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators or Assigns. To which Payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, and every of them, jointly and severally for and in the whole, firmly by these Presents.
