She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill C. Bushong.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

She is survived by a daughter, Dawne Benjamin of Hazelwood; stepdaughter, Janet Bushong of Fort Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Carol Ann Bushong of Stony Point, N.C., Jim and Leigh Bushong of Southlake, Texas, Sue Bushong Crandall of Edmond, Okla., and Debbie and Mike Holland of Fort Smith; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Karen Gonzagowski, Paul Lincks and John Holland USAF, all of Fort Smith, Shaun Crandall of Moore, Okla., Richard Crandall of Huntington Beach, Calif., Robin Tipton of Edmond and Rodney Bushong of St. Joseph, Mo.

Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MARGARET BUSHONG
Margaret Eunice Tinney Bushong, 75, of Route 4, Van Buren, died Friday
in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker, a member of the Bethel
Methodist Church at Bond Special, the Van Buren Chapter of the Order of eastern
Star and a charter member of the Home Extension Club at Bond Special.
Funeral will be at 11 am Monday in Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will be at the Newberry Chapel Cemetery north of Alma.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy June Shelly and Sue Ann Bourns,
both of Van Buren; one son Earl Lewis Tinney of Van Buren; one sister,
Roberta Edenfield of Canal Point, Florida; three brothers, Jack and Earl
Wilson, both of Canal Point, Florida and Francis Wilson of Fort Pierce, Florida;
four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles and Carroll Lutz, John Seftner, Harry Hall,
Hovert berry and Charles Edward Stockton.

Oliver M. Bussell was born & raised in Ottawa, Franklin Co., Kansas, the son of William E. (aka Earl W. -different on 1930 & 1940 US Cen.) and Florence M. (Inmann - maiden from his MN death cert.) Bussell.

He came to Rapid City, Pennington Co., SD, after 1945, as he's not on the 1945 SD State Census, but before his marriage in 1949.

On November 26, 1949, he married Helen L. (Bushong), daughter of Hubert & Grace (Deeble) Bushong of Burdette twp., Hand Co., SD. Oliver was residing in Rapid City ad Helen in Huron at the time. They were married in the Wheaton Church in Hand County.

They resided in Rapid City until their deaths. His wife, Helen preceded him on March 13, 1983, and Oliver died eight months later in Hennepin Co., MN. *probably taken to a hospital there* Both are buried in Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City, SD.
