James King Seneker was the son of Elias Gottlieb Seneker, a German
immigrant, and his wife Catherine Susong Seneker. J. K. Seneker, born 1813, died
1886 married first Elizabeth BUSHONG and secondly Lenora Armentrout. His
third wife was Mary Hodge. Gerald Seneker, Piney Flats, said his grandfather,
John Elias Lafayette Seneker, was the son of J. K. and Elizabeth BUSHONG
Seneker. J. E. L.. Seneker married Margaret Dulaney, and they resided in a
house near Hwy. 126 between Blountsville and Bristol. He was a school teacher
and was also superintendent of schools for Sullivan County. A small
building near the main house was used as a printing office and was later used as
the superintendent's office. J. E. L. and Margaret Seneker were the parents
of Beverly Seneker who married Irma Akard. She was the daughter of Thomas
Akard who married a King. He purchased the present Akard- Seneker homeplace
about 1850 which is located along Cross Dock Road in Enterprise Community. 1850 Federal Census: Tennessee

WILLIAM D. "BILL" BUSHONG

Mr. Bill Bushong, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday evening 5th April
in Gordon Hospital.
Bill was born 12 January 1951 in Morenci, Michigan, son of Lowell Reed
Bushong and the late Betty Marie (Caulkin) Bushong. He was a member of the
First United Methodist Church of Calhoun and at the time of his death was the
plant manager of One Source in Dalton.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Joyce Bushong of Calhoun; his
father, Lowell R. Bushong of Bryan, Ohio; One son Ben Bushong and his wife Missy
of Cumming; One daughter Erin (Bushong) Chancey and her husband Matt of
Fairbanks, Alaska; two sisters, Sandy Rupp and her husband James of Pioneer,
Ohio and Sharon Burrows and her husband Bill of Port Huron, Michigan; Four
grandchildren, Bryson, Brody, Morgan and Ryan as well as a number of nieces
and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, 10 April at the
Chapel of Thomas Funeral home with Dr. Bert Vaughn. The family will receive
friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In addition to
flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart
Association. Thomas Funeral Home has charged of arrangements for the services of

Find A Grave Memorial# 8844533. Bill Dane Bushong, 61 of Calhoun, GA and formerly of Pioneer, Ohio and Bryan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 5th at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.

Bill was born January 12th 1951 in Morenci, Michigan, the son of Lowell “Bud” Reed Bushong and the late Betty Marie (Caulkins) Bushong of Pioneer, Ohio. Bill graduated from North Central High School in Pioneer in 1969 and worked for Challenge Cook in Bryan until transferred to what was then their new operation in Calhoun. Bill had worked as plant manager for several companies in the following years and was employed as plant manager at One Source in Dalton, GA at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Joyce (Henry) Bushong of Calhoun, formerly of Pioneer, his father Lowell R. Bushong of Bryan, Ohio, a son Ben Bushong (and wife Missy) of Cumming, GA, one daughter Erin (Bushong) Chancey (and husband Matt) currently stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, two sisters Sandra Rupp (James) of Pioneer, and Sharon Burrows (Bill) of Port Huron, MI, four grandchildren, Bryson and Brody Bushong, Morgan and Ryan Chancey, mother in law Marcella Henry of Pioneer and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the Thomas Funeral Home in Calhoun on April 10th 2012.
A second memorial service will take place at the Pioneer Community Center in Pioneer on Saturday, April 14th at 2 pm with Nelson Rupp to officiate. The family will receive friends and family from 1 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer is in charge of the local arrangements.
