The daughter of the late Delphine (Dropeck) Bushong and Russell Bushong was born January 27, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Richard (Rick) F. Koester Sr., November 14, 1969. He survives her. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and had a strong devotion to Mary. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts, reading and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband and father are three sons, two daughters and their spouses, Richard F. Koester Jr. and his wife, Amy L., Hemlock, MI.; Marcelette K. and Robert H. Victor Earl Bushong Jr. of Allston Plantation died Wednesday at his home.
He was 66.

He was born May 5, 1943, in Lancaster, Pa., a son of Theresa S. Bushong and
Victor Earl Bushong. Affectionately known as “Mr. Vic” to his family and friends, he attended
Pawleys Island Community Church. He was remembered as a loving husband,
father and grandfather. Mr. Bushong was a participant in a clinical trial for the drug MDV3100 for
prostate cancer. In addition to his mother, of Lancaster, he is survived by his wife,
Penelope L. Bushong; his daughter, Jennifer Susan Sante of Roswell, Ga.; his two
sons, Christopher Donley Bushong of Nashville and Matthew Hoffer and his
wife, Darcie, of Pawleys Island; five grandchildren, Neal Charles, Bryn
Mackenzie and Presley Ann Hoffer, and Elizabeth Anne and Lindsay Rae Sante; a
number of close friends, Bob and Timi Cairns, Gary and Lynne Hornbacher,
Carole McGill, Joe and Kathi Miller, Don and Fran Wills, Dick and Joan Saffer,

HANNA CITY - Services for James B. ''Jay'' Bushong , 30, of Hanna City, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lord's Table Church of God in Bartonville. The Rev. Ron Simmons will officiate. Visitation will from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at DavisonFulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Further visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.

He was pronounced dead at 3:05 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2003, after injuries sustained in a two-car accident in Sherman Township in Mason County.

He was born March 31, 1973, in Peoria to Herschel ''Jim'' and Rose Jackson Bushong .

Surviving are his father of Canton; his mother of Peoria; his grandmother, Edna Bushong of Canton; one brother, Jeffery (and Tina) Chapai of Peoria; and five sisters, Rhonda Pfeiffer, Rita (and Bobby) Blanch, Jackie Chapai, Kimberly (and Chuck) Martin and Tracy Bushong , all of Peoria.

He was a motor route driver for the Journal Star.

Peoria - RhondaR . Pfeiffer , 53, of Peoria passed away at 12:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at her residence.She was born May 31, 1955, in Peoria, the daughter of the late Hershel (Jim) and Judith Gray Bushong of Bellevue.

Surviving are two sisters, Rita (Robert) Blanch of Peoria and Tracy Bushong of Pekin; and one brother, Gale (Leizza) Holford of Gurnee, Ill. Further surviving are four nephews, Bobby, Bryan, Josef and Jonathan; and one niece, Amanda Blaze.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James (Jay) Bushong.
She worked for the Journal Star of Peoria for 20 years and had numerous part-time jobs.
She loved decorating her house, bowling, dancing, riding motorcycles and always had a puppy in her house.
At the request of Rhonda , cremation rites have been accorded.
2 Corinthians 5:8 - "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Glad Tidings Church, 2201 E. Washington Road in East Peoria.
Memorials may be given in her name to Methodist Hospice.

Pekin - Tracy A . Bushong , 41, of Pekin passed away at 2:20 a .m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born Oct. 4, 1967, in Peoria, the daughter of the late Hershel "Jim" and Judith Gray Bushong of Bellevue.

Surviving is one daughter, Amanda Blaze Aberle, who was the purpose of her life. Also surviving is Tracy 's boyfriend, Al Aberle. Further surviving are one sister, Rita (Robert) Blanch of Peoria; and one brother, Gale (Leizza) Holford of Gurnee, Ill. Also surviving are four nephews, Bobby, Bryan, Josef and Jonathan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James "Jay" Bushong ; and one sister, Rhonda Pfeiffer.

She was a cook at Hunts Restaurant on Farmington Road for many years.
