SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. BUSHONG
Mrs. Beulah May Bushong, 51, died December 25 in Midland. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 28, at the Chapel of Midland Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Victor D. Longield officiated and burial was in Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her father, Hugh Switzer, of Gladwin; four daughters, Mrs. Thomas Maxwell of Midland, Mrs. Gus Sanford and Mrs. Dale Seaver, of Freeland, and Miss Viola Bushong of Midland; two brothers, Hugh and Bruce Switzer, of Gladwin; two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Bates of Gladwin and Mrs. Paul Young of Spring Arbor; and 15 grandchildren.
The former Beulah Switzer resided in Gladwin County until seven years ago, when she moved to Midland following the death of her husband [John Lindsay Bushong].

She preceded him in death on November 4, 1968.
Surviving are one son, George of Flint; 5 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Mrs. Carrie Shears and Mrs. Gladys Cottrell of Beaverton, Mrs. Frances Winters of West Branch and Mrs. Irene Cocker of Midland; 47 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Fred Wilson will officiate and burial will be in the Arbutus Cemetery.
