His Obituary
Clyde Joseph Bushong was born near St. Mary's, Ohio on February 7, 1916, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 24, 2009, in Chula Vista, at the age of 93 . At the age of 18, Clyde joined the Navy as a Seaman Recruit and retired 28 1/2 years later as a full Commander. Serving aboard the USS New Mexico as a Gunners Mate when World War II broke out, Clyde rapidly advanced to Chief Petty Officer and then Commissioned Officer. Clyde was instrumental in establishing The Naval Gunfire Support School in Hampton Roads, Virginia which became a vital part of U.S Naval tactics . In the early 1950's, Clyde took part in the Inchon Landings during the Korean War and shortly thereafter, assisted in the evacuation of North Vietnam as it was being overrun by Communist forces in 1954. Commander Bushong's Naval career culminated with a tour of duty attached to the United States Embassy in London, England. During this tour of duty, he had the opportunity to meet with Golda Meir, Jawaharlal Nehru and other world leaders. Clyde married an Ohio girl, Irene Mullett, a registered nurse, in June of 1940. They were married for 62 years before Irene's death in November 2002. He was also predeceased by a brother, Vernon and a sister, Helen Cremean. Clyde is survived by two sons, Roger of Smelterville, ID and Joe of Lakeside, CA; two daughters, Pat Boom of San Ramon, CA and Sarah Keyser of Cataldo, ID. He is also survived by a brother Richard of Green Valley, AZ; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. After retiring from the Navy, Clyde finally got to college and finished a four year course in 28 months, earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from San Diego State University with a major in Speech Arts. He then spent 10 years working as a Camp Superintendent with the San Diego Honor Camp System. Besides time with his family, Clyde was a devoted golfer, playing all over the world as duty and time permitted. A highlight was playing the Royal and Ancient course at St. Andrews, Scotland. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing, traveling with Irene, gardening, fixing things, reading and closely following his San Diego Padres. The last eight years of Clyde's life were happily spent living with other seniors at Fredericka Manor in Chula Vista. He was very active in the close knit community there, especially as "Mr . Fixit" in the Manor's "Fix It Shop." He also was a dinner time announcer, "Buddy System" monitor on his floor and a participant in the annual Talent Show displaying his ever present humor. Clyde J. Bushong lived a long and productive life and he will be sorely missed by family and friends. Services will be in Fellowship Hall at Fredericka Manor on Friday, October 2nd, 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a modest donation to the Fredericka Club, C/O 183 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91901.

Muiredeach ("King of Connought") Tereach King of Connought
M, #785, b. about 261, d. 356
Parents
Biography
Muiredeach ("King of Connought") Tereach King of Connought was born about 261. He died in 356, at age ~95.
Muiredeach ("King of Connought") Tereach King of Connought had reference number. The ancient tribe of Muridach of Ireland originated with Muirediach Tereach, grandson of Carbri of the Liffy. Muirediach Tireach was High King of Ireland.
Muiredeach's father, Fiacha (son of Carbri) was reiging High King at Tara in the begining of the fourth century. Muiredeach, a young man of exceeding ability, was made King of Connaught and the throneat Tara.
Now, at a time when Muiredeach was in Munster, fighting his father's battles with great success and bright renoun, Cola Uais (his nephew) saw himself eclipsed, and popular feeling leaning to the victorious Muiredeach as the proper successor to his father, Fiaca. So Colla and his two brothers, Colla Da-Crioch and Colla Main, gathered an army of their own adherents, formidably augmented it by sedusing from their allegiance a large portion of Ard-Righ Fiacha's army, and giving battle to Fiacha at Tailltin in Meath, overthrew and slew him.
They seized the throne for Colla Uais, who reigned Ard-Righ for four years. At the end of that time he, in turn, was overthrown by Muiredeach, and fled with his two brothers and their followers, to Alba (Scotland) to the King of the Picts, who was his mother's father.
Then Muiredeach became Ard-Righ of Ireland, and reigned for 27 years.
Muiredeach Tireach was father of Eochaid Muigh-Medon, who became Ard-Righ of Ireland at Tara midway of the fourth century.
--------------------------------------------------------
It was when Muiredeach Tireach, grandson of Carbri of the Liffey, was High King of Ireland, that Ulster was despoiled and broken by his nephews, the three Collas, who, on the ruins of the old kingdomof Uladh, founded a new kingdom - of Oirgialla (Oriel) which was henceforth for nearly a thousand years to play an important part in the history of Northern Ireland. The ostensible cause of their attack upon Ulster was the ancient grudge borne that province because many generations before, the Ulster king, tiobraide, had sent to Tara fifty robbers discuised as women, who had slain Conn of the Hundred Battles and because, a generation later, the Ulster prince, Fergus Blacktooth, had, by setting fire to his hair at a feast, put a blemish upon Cormac MacArt, which, for a time, debarred him from the throne which Fergus then usurped. The Collas first went to their kin in Connaught and there gathered a great army for the invasion of Ulster. On the plain of Farney in Monaghan they met the Ulstermen under their king, Fergus, and on seven successive days broke battle upon them, finally slaying Fergus and putting the Ultach (Ulstermen) to complete rout. Of the conquered portion of Ulster, from Louth in the south to Derry in the north, and from Loch Neagh to Loch Erne, the Collas made themselves the new kingdom of Oirgialla (Oriel). He had person sources.
