Marilyn Ann Reall Bushong, 82, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Ossiam, IN, widow of Richard Lowell Bushong, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016. Born March 8, 1934 in Darby County, OH, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Vogt Reall.(There is no Darby Co., Ohio)

Mrs. Bushong was a former bookkeeper for the family business Richard L. Bushong, Inc. Marilyn enjoyed working with various charities and along with her husband were members of the Tocsin Bible Church in Tocsin, IN.

Mrs. Bushong is survived by her daughters, Nancy Sue Kelsey of Sarasota, FL and Sheryl Lawson and her husband David of Lawrenceburg; a granddaughter, Amy Samantha Kelsey and her husband Justin Swanson of NY; and a great granddaughter, Lyndi Walker.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 31st at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Will Cooper of Ninevah Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Beryl K. (Mrs. Robert) Bushong, age 87, of Watertown, South Dakota, formerly Rapid City, South Dakota, area, passed away on Friday, 27 February 2015, at a care center in Watertown. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 3 March 2015, at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Mike Hayes, from Rapid City, will officiate. Music will be provided by A. J. Sherrill as organist with Neal Mack as soloist. Visitation will take place from 9 to 10:00 a.m. prior to services at the chapel on Tuesday.

Burial will be at Burdette Cemetery, rural Tulare, South Dakota, at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be: Gereth Bushong, Thad Chenoweth, Lyle Chenoweth, Dave Schlosser, Joe Bushong and James Harding.

Beryl was born on 28 December 1927, in Canova, South Dakota, to Eugene Hale and Olive (Taylor) Snow. She was the seventh of ten children and the only one born in a hospital. Beryl graduated from Huron High School in 1945 and that is where she met Bob.

On 28 November 1946, Beryl married Bob Bushong in Huron, SD. Beryl began working for the Social Security Administration in 1960. In 1977, she and Bob moved to the Black Hills just west of Rapid City. Because of her expertise in shorthand and typing, she became the secretary to the superintendent of Rapid schools. Beryl retired in 1992. She and Bob enjoyed many years serving their church, Rimrock Evangelical Free, and developed life long friendships. The couple moved to Watertown in 2010 to be near their daughter.

She loved music and sang in the church choir. In high school she played the viola. Beryl enjoyed sewing and cooking and was well known for her pies. She was a dedicated wife and mother and was very passionate about her grandchildren. Beryl lived her life with a unique intuition of the needs of those around her. She was quick to find loving ways to encourage and make a difference in the lives of all that knew her. She loved unconditionally and without reserve.

Beryl is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bob, of Watertown; five children: Robert (Nancy) Bushong and Bruce (Susie) Bushong all of Victor, Idaho; Beth (Dave) Schlosser of Amelia, Virginia, Diane (Lyle) Chenoweth of Watertown, South Dakota, and William (Tanya) Bushong of Faith, South Dakota; nine grandchildren: Lorna, Joe, Alexia, Brian, Melanie, Thad, Gereth, Treyton and Gabe; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patty (Matt) Traster, of Kansas; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Bushong, of Washington; two brothers-in-law: Ardway Bennett of Nebraska and Larry Venables of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and six sisters.
