Jack B. Fetter, 69, of Findlay, died at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Jack was born on July 2, 1941 to Oscar and Pauline (Bushong) Fetter.
Jack was a 1959 graduate of Prospect High School, Prospect, Ohio and a 1963 graduate of The Ohio State University. Jack taught vocational agriculture and science at Margaretta, River Valley, Indian Lake and Cory-Rawson High Schools. Jack went on to work as a marketing supervisor for Ohio Edison for 30 years until his retirement. Jack had recently worked at the Home Depot and Walmart in Findlay. Jack was a member of the Prospect Alumni Association and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Findlay, past member of the Marion and Sandusky, Ohio Speakers Bureau, Norwalk, Marion, and Sandusky Kiwanis, the Ohio Teachers Association and the Ohio Snowmobile Association.
Jack is survived by his wife of 20 years, whom he married on April 7, 1990, Carol (McCullough)Russell; daughter, Rhonda (Matthew) Lawrence of Columbus, Ohio; stepchildren, Brian and Kevin Russell of Findlay and Matthew (Miriam) Russell of Tennessee; grandchildren, Nicholas and Emily Fetter, Josh, Alex and Jessie Lawrence, Caleb, Seth, Abigail, Tyler, Hayden, Mercedes and Madeline Russell.
Jack was preceded in death by his first wife in 1988 Juanita Meeks, who he married in 1961 and a son, Randy Fetter of Marion, Ohio.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1701 Tiffin Ave., Findlay, Ohio on Saturday November 6, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Ditmar officiating.
Memorial contributions in Jack's name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Blanchard Valley Dialysis Services or St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Donald "Doc" Comstock, 87, of Kenton, died on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his residence. He was born on July 18, 1926, to the late Ray, Sr. and Blanche (Stark) Comstock. He married Emily Bushong on June 16, 1951, and she survives. Doc is also survived by his daughters: Barbara Lavender of Birmingham, AL, Patricia (Stan) Striker of Wildwood, MO and Judith (Wayne) Buffington of Westlake, OH; his beloved grandchildren: Laura (Matthew) Gosney, Ryan Lavender, Kelly Striker, Alex Buffington and Colton Buffington; and his step-grandson, Tom Buffington. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Ray and George Comstock; his sisters: Doris Hibner, Marie Rall and Ruthella Hibner. Doc retired from Rockwell in 1991, after 26 years. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Elks Lodge #157, and Kenton Moose Family Center. He was a 1944 graduate of Ridgeway High School, and a U.S. Army Veteran having served our country during World War II. Doc enjoyed spending time with his family, but his greatest love in life was his grandchildren, as they affectionately referred to him as "the greatest Papa ever." A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton, with Reverend R. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton, where full military rites will be conducted by the Amvets Post #1994. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Universal Home Health.
