this union two sons were born. For a number of years he worked in service
stations in Montezuma and then returned to farming, continuing in that

Mrs. Tillie Swink, Salem, Oregon; Mrs. Wanda Kelley and Mrs. Owen, both of
Des Moines; a brother Harold of Montezuma, three granddaughters, other

with Rev. George Snyder officiating. Miss Alice underwood played the
funeral selections and accompanied Bill Rempp who sang "In the Garden" and
"Beyond the Sunset". Burial was in Jackson Township Cemetery under the direction
of the Steffy Funeral Home. Casket Bearers were Sylvan VeVerka, Ralph
Peters, Donald McKee, Wesley Malcolm, Clarence Simpson and Thomas Byers.
