Bushong, formerly of West Grove, Pennsylvania, to Mr. Laurence B. Gawthrop, of
this city, will take place today at 2114 Diamond Street in the presence of
only members of the immediate families. After the ceremony the couple will
leave for a short wedding trip.
Mr. Gawthrop is the son of Evan B. Gawthrop of 3810 Hamilton Street,
and is advertising manager of a prominent manufacturing concern in this city.
Both the bride and the bridegroom spent the early years of their life in
West Grove, Pennsylvania. Upon their return Mr. and Mrs. Gawthrop will live

Mabel J. Bushong, 87, passed away on Wednesday, 1 May 2013, at Sterling House, Bowling Green, Ohio. Born in Decatur, Mabel was a secretary for the Local 305 U.A.W. for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Mabel enjoyed sewing and her music. "She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren." Surviving are her husband, Francis Lee Bushong of Decatur; children, Jackie (Glenn) Barlett of Findlay, Ohio and Vicki (Brian) Miller Culp; grandchildren, Brianne, Brittney and Lindsey; brothers, Ted Reinhart of Decatur and Max Reinhart of Fort Wayne; and sister, Alice Bittner of Decatur.
