Mrs. Florence Bushong, 61, of 205 North Middleboro Avenue, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Leesburg, Indiana, 3 February 1905, and came here 30 years ago from Milford, Indiana. On 11 December 1926 in Warsaw, Indiana, she married Kenneth Bushong, who died three weeks ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jack Gatshell and Mrs. Ronald Johnson, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Everett Garrage and Mrs. Thomas Palmer, of Mishawaka, and six grandchildren. Friends may call in the Hollis Funeral Chapel, South Bend from 7 p.m. today until funeral services there at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. W. Wayne Yeater, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
