Rites Wednesday For Evangelist
The Rev Lester E. Bushong, 52, 1531 Park St., died Sunday at 9:10 p. m. in his home.
Dr. Byron F. Voorhees, Hancock County coroner, said death was caus ed by chronic cardiorenal disease. He had been ill for one year.
Born May 23, 1907, in Arlington, he was the son of Marion W. and Mar ie (Steinman) Bushong. IN 1930, he was married to Edith Decker, who survi ves. His mother resides in Dunkirk.
Also surviving are three sons, Max, Elida; Joe, Crystal Ave.; Davi d, at home; three daughters, Reta Babcock, W. Lincoln St.; Betty and Debr a, at home; two brothers, Harold, Dunkirk; Everett, Dunkirk; two sister s, Kathryn Leatherberry, Wellesville; Lucille Bushong, Wapakoneta; and t wo grandchildren. A sister and brother are deceased.
Mr. Bushong was a traveling evangelist in the Evangelist Pentecost al Church.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 am. in the Coldren Funeral Ho me with the Rev. William Longstaff, Pentecostal Church of Christ, Fostori a, officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. THE REPUBLIC AN COURIER obituary, Findlay, Oh., Mon., 19 Oct. 1959 A.D., pg. 14.
