Find A Grave Memorial# 73954883. The Bushongs settled at 423 Tenth Street in Brooklyn. They had seven children: Stewart, born in1885; Alice, 1886; Charles, 1888; Beatrice, 1890; William, 1892; Mary, 1899; and John, 1894. John died a horrible death when he was 4 years old on the night of Election Day in November 1898. He strayed too close to a bonfire. His clothes caught fire and death soon followed. The other three sons, Stewart, Charles, and William, all became dentists. On August 19, 1908, Albert Bushong died of cancer at his home at the age of 51.
