Fairfield, died in the Jackson hospital in Olney Thursday, 19 September,
following several months illness with ailments incident to his advanced age. He
was 79 years, 9 months, and 22 days of age. Funeral services were
conducted at the Crippin Funeral Home in Cisne on Saturday afternoon by Elder W. D.
Crippin. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, in Fairfield. James Lincoln
, son of Perry and Mary Jane Bushong, was born in Monroe County,
Kentucky, 27th November 1866. In young manhood, he moved to Illinois and
located near Mt. Erie. In 1898, he was united in marriage with Nellie McDowell
and four children were born to this union, one of whom, Mary Etta Yohe,
passed away in 1920. Surviving are two sons, Clayton, of Fairfield, and Joe, of
Grayville; one daughter, Mrs. Ovella Cloninger of St. Louis, Missouri; one

OBITUARY

WILLIAM D. BUSHONG, 57, TRAVELING MAN, IS DEAD
William D. Bushong, 57 years old, traveling hardware salesman in Indiana many years, died suddenly of heart disease Tuesday night at his home, 5215 Park Avenue. Mr. Bushong was born near Glasgow, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Indianapolis more than twenty years. He was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary, 25 West Fall Creek Parkway. Friends have been asked to call after noon today. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The widow, Mrs. Nellie Partlowe Bushong, survives.

Nancy Jane ("Nannie") Bushong was born on 6 May 1880 in Tomkinsville, Monroe County, Kentucky. She and James Duke Boyles were married on 24 December 1905 in Monroe County, Kentucky. She died on 8 May 1963, at age 83, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. She was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.

Corkran, of Barren County. From this union sprang Simeon, Mary (Baldock), William A., Catherine B. (Hamilton), Lucy J. (Harlan) and John.
